1) End The Wars & reduce foreign occupation.

2) Work On Getting Money Out Of Politics hardcore... Make it a serious project!

3) Work on infrastructure that is as natural disaster ready as can be. To do this is every town/city is a massively expensive project, so ending the wars first was crucial. Even starting now we may only be finished in 10 years. This is red alert, I believe more natural disasters to come that we are ready for would over time be even more costly than this project.
Obviously coastal areas would be more expensive.

4) Launch investigation on all areas of corruption within the govt. & investigate goldman sacchs type companies, oil companies, & pharma companies.

5) Climate Change

What would you do?
I honestly have no idea...
I think:
1. Pull out of the middle east
2. Push for reparations
3. Push for a flat negative income tax* along with a low corporate tax rate, somewhere in the ball park of 10-15%
4. Craft a passable single payer
5. Push for repeal of the federal min wage and maybe child labor laws:patrice:

Appoint some one committed to reforming/modernizing education in this country too :scust:

Well, I don't know what I'd do first because there's only so much you can do without Congress, but off the top of my head -

1. Fire Jeff Sessions and his racist buddies, appoint a new Attorney General, and instruct him to investigate police misconduct in various departments and in general
2. Do whatever I can do end the War on Drugs (again, this would be a directive for the AG)
3. Re-enter the Paris Agreement
4. Restore DACA
5. Work on single payer or at least a public option (but again, not sure how much would be feasible without Congress cooperating)

  1. Stay in the Middle East; probably bolster forces in the Middle East. That is a good strategic position, and I would never give that up.
  2. Decrease the intensity on the war on drugs.
  3. I'd work on climate change.
  4. Place greater emphasis on investing in Africa to compete with the Chinese.
  5. Decrease immigration, placing greater emphasis on training existing Americans.

Not to mention over saturation in certain fields making that Bachelors worthless in comparison to a 2 year vocational degree with greater earning potential. Look at Law currently, it is heavily oversaturated right now and that is a professional degree. Everyone completing a Bachelors? :mjlol:

I'd actually lower the amount of federal funding (probably just do away with it all together) to people that cannot afford it. Highly gifted and highly talented HS students can get government grants to go to college, but everyone else :camby: unless they can pay for it. We have to make college great again. Have people there that want to be there to want to propel the U.S. into the future and head-hunt academically talented, young students in H.S. and middle school.

And the money we take away from giving out federal loans and the like will go to bolstering the public institutions directly.

Just thinking about the achievements and the intellectual output. :ohlawd: :banderas:

3. Abolish the electoral college.

1. Re-enter the Paris Accords and restore all relevant climate change initiatives.
2. COMPREHENSIVE education reform (K-12 and post-secondary). Make all community colleges and a select number of trade schools free (everyone should be able to get an Associates' degree) and establish a framework for loan forgiveness programs for struggling current/former students. may provide a deduction for attending state colleges. :ehh:
3. End the use of privately-owned prisons at the federal level, and urge states to significantly reduce or end use of for-profit prisons. Allow felons to vote.
4. Prohibit big businesses from utilizing offshore accounts as tax havens. (...somehow :kanyebp:.) May offer to cut the corporate tax rate to 12-15% as a carrot. :ld:
5. Comprehensive police reform.
