i feel sorry for anyone who hasnt had a chance to listen to 90s hiphop.. honestly i love music so much.. if i was younger i would go back and listen and embrace all that shyt.. all your favorite rappers grew up idolizing some rapper from the 90s.. just like rappers like nas grew up idolizing kool g and rakim .. instead of hating.. learn something ya lil bytch

i grew up bumpin mid 90s hip hop as an elementary skool kid :yeshrug:

Not hating rather Im shytting on :flabbynsick: fans who cant see the talent of todays era and generation and are a bunch of ol "this generation music sucks"
"Hip hop is dead"

"these new guys cant rap they a bunch of fakkits blah blah"

So in other words..Im hatin on the haters :dwillhuh:

@L. Deezy I'm only 20 breh :skip: but I love 90s hip hop just as much as I love modern hip hop. I actually used to be one of these people Blackslash is talking bout, but I got with the times and now I just see the whole "new school vs. old school" shyt as useless.

The old shyt isn't coming back, but if u want u listen to modern music and u want to have ur opinion respected, u gotta know ur history. Both sides need to find a medium and shut up :stopitslime:

:ehh: But it does serve well for fukkery purposes

Tell me what R&B albums goin half diamond?:childplease:
Tell me what Pop albums goin half diamond?:childplease:

Cmon breh..liek i said ur faulty :flabbynsick: perception has u connecting dots that have nothing to do with each other :childplease:

See with me, I love 90's and older R&B.. I think the creative aspect is gone now in rap. And the lack of real singers in the mainstream for R&B

But shyt, I give props where props is due. I hate Wayne, but if "No Worries" come on now, nygga Im partying. lol

You named two rappers who studied the ART of rap breh:skip:

Drake and Kanye are students of the game. They took what they learned and updated it. Kanye going backwards now.. but thats another story. But when he ascended to the top, he was influenced off 80's and 90's rap shyt breh and 70's Soul...

This is a stupid thread though, Look at the rap game and 80% of the good rappers are 30and up.

Kayne, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne, Jay-Z, Nas, T.I,

I'm suppose to value the opinons of Big Sean, Meek Mill, Wiz Khalifa, Chief Keef over theirs? :what:

I fukks with Kendrick Lamar, J. Cole, Schoolboy Q, Future and they all young. I don't discriminate because of the age of a rapper.

nikkas really butthurt cause dudes don't like :wrist: Drake...

Well aside from the Nigerian music they would play

Alot of MJ
New Edition
And for the most part alot of 80s soul

good shyt..

I dont see why you dont embrace some of that yourself. I embraced alot of what my parents played. 70's, 80's

Thats why I find it impossible to shyt on older music. Shyt puts you back in time. Where you were, what you were doing..

Not shytting on the music..my post never implied that

Rather..Im shytting on fans who are just stuck in one era who make it their mission to diss and cant find or recognize the talent of todays music
Same goes for the other way around

If you was old enough to be listening to the message when it came out you should be playing with your grandkids and not worrying about what music 17 year olds are producing.
