I know this question might get some people heated. I am not calling anyone a coward neither can I even imagine the atrocities our ancestors were put through. I am asking out of a thought that crossed my mind. Say Nat Turner led a successful rebellion against Cacs that garnered support from other slaves who joined the fight and it led to our freedom would things be different for us now? Yes I am aware a lot of black people fought in the civil war.

Of course it's hypothetical why state the obvious, it's a case of speculating where we might have been if that occurred. Think about how overplayed the narrative of our origins stemming from slaves, how empowering would it have been to know that we rose up and fought our oppressors and gained our freedom.
