Wii U, because even for people who don't like "kiddie" games, there's more fun to be had with its library than the one for Xbox One, and the best Wii U games have great local multiplayer benefits and plenty of replay value to last you well beyond the game drought the system's currently going through. Monster Hunter 3, Razor's Edge, Sonic & All Stars Racing Transformed, Mario Kart 8, and Tekken Tag Tournament 2 can even be played online worldwide, and the same goes for certain eshop games. Add on backwards compatibility, which allows you to play instant classics like Metroid Prime 3, No More Heroes, and Super Mario Galaxy 2, as well an extensive virtual console in Wii mode that extends into the Wii U mode for updated versions of old games that can be played on the gamepad, and you have a great deal even when considering the current drought leading up to Mario Kart 8.
