Saw a government official on Cuomo the other night blaming music that promotes violence,as one of the reasons for gun violence in america.
Mentioned that while he was saying how building a wall will help gun violence in a major way because it will keep violent illegal immigrants out.
So he is not wrong,im sure theres some task force that believes if they shut down violent hiphop they will stop gun violence.
If they believe in that goofy ass wall,I know they believe in that.

There's BEEN a government agenda against rappers, which is why rap is as shytty as it is now. Hip Hop became a target of COINTELPRO as soon as it showed itself to be more than a fad and a vehicle for black consciousness, it's why groups like PE and the stop the violence movement get deemed as radical and more of a concern than NWA, as long as you're promoting black death in your music you'll have an audience.

Yet in still, every dumb thing rappers do and perpetuate is still on them.
