You have to be 100% real with your kids from early and call them out on bullshyt and tell them how life is out there. That won’t stop your daughter from hauling useless teenage bums around town in the car that you bought her, but at least she’ll know a scrub when she sees one. A valuable tool to have as she gets older and wiser.
