Who compares? I'll be honest I was alive but def not conscious enough to have any sort of idea who O.J was or even the notion of celebrities/athletes.

And yes I binged watched that show today.

Probably someone like Michael Strahan.

- Retired football great
- Estranged non-Black wife
- Television personality
- Easily digested by cacs

If Strahan were to kill his ex-wife, it'd be the closest thing to OJ.

People love Stray now, but if he goes off the deep end, his miracle PR work will hit the bushes and they'll suddenly remember all the accusations and craziness that very publicly went on with his ex-wife and hindsight claim it wasn't that shocking after all.

OJ had nothing like that in his known past. He was the safest black man ever in white people land.

The closest is Strahan. A lot of you young guys here don't realize how big a star OJ was at one point. He was in movies and TV shows and they weren't cameos or straight to TV movies, they were legit and he had big roles in them. He was considered one of the best RB's of all time. No other athlete as good as he was obtained the level success in entertainment that OJ. People who never watched a day of football knew who OJ.
