Most people wouldn’t have cars, higher education or houses without the ability to incur debt. So no, I do not necessarily agree.

I always felt like that. If I dont have the cash for it I dont need it right now. And this is exactly why I have no credit card accounts on my credit and its fukking me over. My credit could be a lot higher if I had 1 card. Crazy how not having a credit card can hurt your credit

I disagree as an absolute. For example, i could see myself maybe buying a house with debt (which from what i understand, dave ramsey is not against).

But no i probably wouldn't buy a car or other stuff with debt.

Maybe if your goal is to live off the grid, isolated from the world then sure. But debt has allowed me to purchase income producing properties that i would not have gotten with just cash.

Debt has allowed me to build my personal credit profile and my business credit profile so i can make investments when the opportunity arises.

Getting into debt for dumb shyt like clothes and depreciating items is corny, but black folk gotta stop with this "debt is evil" shyt. Its not helpful for us as a community.
