Computer engineering. And nah fam, doctors make way more. An engineer in my area is topping out at 160K. It's pretty common for a doctor to be in 200K plus range.

But I think it would be pretty dope to be my own boss and have my own practice instead of being one of two black engineers at work constantly trying to prove my worth to peers and higher ups.

That's why most doctors are in there 30s before they start making paper (and that's only if they start and finish school on time). An engineer is already making paper in their 20s with way less debt. Med school can leave you with 300k+ loans.
Second, its starting to become almost impossible to have your own practice in larger cities cause the hospitals is buying everything out. And even if you had your own practice your still gonna be working like a mug to try and break even every month.

You wilding not putting your shyt to good use. You should be a millionaire in 10years with a engineering degree
