"this shyt is so real its on another level. White boys NEVER showed me any love. I liked a couple- not many- but they were not into it. I was always really attracted to Hispanic guys and ESPECIALLY black guys, but It was partially because I felt thats all I could get. But none of the boys wanted to date me, they just wanted to hook up. But my first and current boyfriend is actually Vietnamese. Hes americanized but still its very uncommon and looked down upon in his culture to date outside of your race and especially to date a fat girl. And he doesnt care. I don't mean to sound rude, but sometimes I feel as if black men hit on anything they see. For example, I have beautiful friends with perfect bodies, and then I have friends who don't take care of themselves at all, don't wear makeup, don't exercise etc. And they tend to get hit on by the SAME black guys (in college). I'm a slim girl, I go to the gym 4-5 times a week and I STILL get hit on by black guys.

Honestly I'm the same. I went to high school in a predominantly white upper middle class area. I got no attention from the guys at my school the attention I did get had to be hidden because those guys were ashamed of me. So I ended up dating like all black guys. They were honest about how they were attracted to me unashamed and even proud of my size. And I got so much shyt growing up for only dating black guys, from my friends who were white guys. It's like I don't see you approaching me. I know you're attracted to me because you're always making comments. But anyways my boyfriend is black but I'm not only attracted to black guys. I do find them like a little bit more attractive lol but that's besides the point. No white guys liked me. Even my parents gave me shyt about it. Lol they're no longer in my life. But anyways imma end this rant here.

I feel just like you I grew up with blacks and Mexicans in south central la and when I actually started being self conscious about my body was when I moved to the valley where I noticed none of the white boys found me attracted or have ever played me any attention. So I started saying and till this day I still say," oh I will never date white guys I'm not into white boys" but it's just cuz THEY are not into me!! so it's sad that I went years saying I ONLY like black guys but that was only because I would notice most of the guys to give me any attention were black.

Holy crap I loved this video!!! My racist white family ALWAYS wonders why I like black guys and care about black issues its exactly what you said; just like fat, black is obvious and easily gets persecuted and I like black guys because they actually let me know that I'm worthy of love unlike white guys who completely ignore me!! I always tell people that ask me why I like people who like me (black and Hispanic men) to tell some white guys to show me some attention if they want me to be with a white man so badly!! The whole "issue" is so annoying we are all people and we're all beautiful and we need to love ourselves and each other! Keep spreading the good word girl!

I think the comment on black guys liking bigger women is only a half truth. African American men in my opinion majority of the time date big girls that are not black. I know this because my lovely brother was one of these guys. He would date plus size white, hispanic, asian girls with no problem. It's not just him though, it is our men in general. Interracial love is in and I get that, but they "fat shame" their own women and glorify other women that happen to plus size and a different race. Black guys are ok being seen with plus size girls as long as they are not black. Now Africans are completely different. Those men will love you no matter your color or size, maybe not as many as back in the days, but there is still a good amount. As a plus size black girl I just feel like if we going to talk about this lets really talk about it. Black guys only own half of it and us plus size black girls are thrown back into the pond. Caribbean men and African men appreciate us plus size black girls though. Sorry for the rant lol but this is a struggle that not only I have gone through.

Tbh, black men don't like fat women, they like non-black women. They are willing to date fat non-black woman because that's all they can get really. I'm seriously not trying to be racist but that is the truth. I don't know about Hispanic men though. My brother is like this.

As a fat black women I'm a little on the fence about the 2nd question and its response. I don't subscribe to black men inherently liking fat women or even being super confident about it, what I will say is that they will date fat white/white-passing women but shame fat black women in the same breath. And no this is not all Black men and this is not all Inter-racial relationships where the woman is fat and white. But, there is an inherent pedastaling of White women and Non Black Woman of color(cause white supremacy) which is internalized by us all(specifically America). This does not change because a woman happens to be fat. Honestly I have been shamed and bullied by black men about my weight for my entire life and also rendered invisible next to thinner friends... so while a lot of you were getting attention from black men I guarantee that there were some fat black girls who got shytted on by those same guys. I do love your vids Sarah and I appreciate your point of view.
