You had nikkas who really believed the south killed hip hop. We kept hip hop alive the past 10 years.

NYC had a renaissance from 2000-2005

The South been running shyt though from a commercial standpoint. You couldn't cut on the radio and not hear our shyt.. Matter of fact when 50 first blew alot of people (not me) thought he was from down south.:russ: Bottom line the south had a grip on the game and we just now letting yall back in.

You acting as if Wayne,Jeezy,Ross,Cole and 2 Chainz haven't all got plaques in the past 2 years, and Future isn't killing the airwaves right now :patrice:

Not to mention Mike Will is rap's favorite producer and NY/Philly nikkas are still tryin to rap over trap beats (see Fab and Meek Millz latest singles).

The South isn't letting NY back in :heh:

The South worked heavy w/NY during this "golden era" you speak of. The South isn't working with NY because there is nobody from NY to work with. And in any case the one new NY nikka (French Montana) has worked w/some Southern folks recently. So what are you talking about :heh:

Plus nobody denied the South's dominance, nobody is talking about who is going to bring NY back, pretty much the only thing you've said ehre that's true is that the South is running shyt. U talk about 2000-2008 like G-Unit, Dipset and Rocafella weren't in their prime then. Ur aggy over the made up ramblings of nikkas u will never meet from places you will never go :scusthov:

"Whys is everybody all mad at the south for?" Switch your style up" Jada. Difference is NY had to work with southern artist to remain relevant cuz at our peak NY didn't have singles on the radio like that.:whoo: You can make a case for Dipset, and G-Unit but the Roc had long broke up. From a commercial standpoint we been killing the radio for a minute.. And so it seems NY just now getting back in.:manny:

More like 1997-present..

Could sworn Cash Money/No Limit had shyt on lock in the late 90's selling more records than anyone.

Amazon.com: 1998: The Best Rap Albums
I tried to be fair:manny: We was warming up around that time though.

2-3 of these records will stand the test of time. Plies? T-Pain? This is the best case you could make?

I meant from a commercial standpoint. T-Pain was on soo many bangers in a 3 year span it was ridiculous. Only Jay could slow him up. Plies had albums dropping like he was on No Limit and was killing the radio. One thing about him is he knew how to make a hit record. Not like them punchline rappers:skip:
