Passing down your genes is necessary for the upkeep of the human population and is the only way to preserve your genes but there's nothing logically and truly great about it. Greatness comes about through innovation and discovery achievement. Something that people remember through out the generations is more so a legacy than having a bunch of kids who no one will remember.

I survived this generation when so many people I know didn't.
If I have kids that is a blessing when so many want to and cant, how can you tell me that isn't great lol.

They get to grow up around mothers and fathers, aunties and uncles who have graduated & are way more educated and financially independent than the generation we grew up in. Thats an achievement all my fam in my generation will be proud of.

Bullshyt way of thinking.

Why? Ive seen people give their life just to give their seed a better chance at life and to progress. That stems from the ideology of continuing your legacy... How is that a bullshyt way of thinking?

I cant sit and think about the lack of black generational wealth if I don't even want to usher in the next generation of my family, that don't make sense to me.
