If you go to a party and bring a 12 pack or a bottle of alcohol what's your protocol?

This. You always leave what you brought (tubberware/plates is the exception), unless the hosts tell you to take it back with you.

I bring a bottle or two. Usually get it cracking myself then convince everyone to take shots with me. After I leave bottles go to host.

I bring what I'm going to consume. Rarely will I have anything to leave, if I do have left left overs it's usually one or two

I empty out the top shelf vodka into a hip flush and replace it with water . Super glue to lid back on and by the time it's opened everyone is too drunk and they smash the bottle or they can't open it and you've bounced before then.

You bought it, take it with you or leave it there...
