Plex Dev Team said:I know you guys have been very patient around Sync support. So thank you for that.
Generally speaking, it's worth keeping in mind that iOS and Android are simply more established Plex platforms with a larger user base. Unfortunately for Microsoft, there aren't enough people out there buying apps on Windows 8 and 8.1 to make the case for higher prioritization. Once there are more Windows 8/8.1 users using the Plex app, especially on tablets, you'll see decisions like this shifting. And not just for us, but across the industry. Numbers talk.
Why do we have to prioritize? Because there aren't a lot of us, compared to the number of platforms, products and features we work on. That's the nature of the software industry, to do as much as you can, and spend your time wisely.
Anyway, things have been fairly quiet on Windows update-wise. That's mainly because we've been doing some major refactoring in the Windows app codebase in order to support... another Microsoft platform. That should be out soon.
And for the Windows app itself, you can expect a major release or two in the short to mid term. Unless plans change (and they can), I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Look what Happened today:Plex Media Server arrives on Windows Phone 8, free for Nokia devices for the first month

While Plex has been busy updating its media server software for iOS and Android, it's sadly neglected Microsoft's mobile OS since its debut on Windows Phone 7nearly two years ago. That changes today however, with the introduction of Plex for Windows Phone 8. Based on Plex for Windows 8, the program has many of the features as its other iterations -- you can remotely control your media from the device, view metadata about shows and tunes, and even share selected files with friends. Plex also now supports HTTP Live Streaming, which should result in higher quality video and support for more subtitle formats. And here's a special bonus for those of you with a Nokia WP8 device: you'll be able to download it for free for the next 30 days. Do note that the app is still under heavy development, but the company promises there are plenty more updates (like a new second screen remote feature) coming down the road.

I'm currently riding without cable. This is what I can doDamn so let's say you don't have any cable services.. How much can the Xbox offer you in terms of TV content?

I'm currently riding without cable. This is what I can do
The Fox Now app used to work, but stopped working after the latest update for the most part
Now, I can only access a couple of shows from each series instead of the full list
Hulu Plus has all those same shows, and only a few hours after they air. I watched Family Guy Brians return around 3am monday morning
Netflix
NFL app has everything but I can't access redzone or NFL network without cable. All the highlights from those channels are on there.
ESPN app works, so I can watch clips, replays, top stories. and ESPN3 has tons of content from every sport, and its on demand, in HD.
Thats about it without cable, wait.. There's Crackle which is free as well. And when you say "Xbox, One Guide" it shows a listing of shows immediately. And you can pick easily get to a show that way
You can even pin the shows to your dashboard and access them that way. I have watched MORE TV doing this than I would when I had cable. The OneGuide is the main reason.. it keeps you updated on whats new so you don't have to
I'm not sure. The FX app never worked for me. It said I had to activate it, and it currently doesn't support "COX" which is what I'm rocking withSo the fox and FX aps don't work anymore?

I copped a Roku, then rode with the phone/internet plan for $70 and anything I wanna watch I do via the methods I discussed already or via XBMC
If you have a supported provider, I assume the apps should just flat out work. So you can add those to the mix as well @b_low_brown aka @ChrisDorner
wtf? Thought y'all said I was sour tsunami??
