I go even further. If they're not contributing to the conversation in a few replies back, I'm out. For instance, they're replying back with a sentence, but it's only replying to what I'm asking. They keep it super simple, no follow up, nothing to branch off. It makes me think they're just bored and want something to do to pass the time until someone else comes along.

Yup and that ain't me. If the convo isn't flowing, it's a waste of my time. I've had conversations with complete strangers and it felt like we knew each other for years and people I've known for years be kinda dry
