Who really cares about wondrous punchlines and multies and shyt nowadays. The flow, mood, charisma and beat are much more important. What the hell is lyricism anyway? Miss me with all that. Personally as long as the nikka aint saying a bunch of drivel on some Keef shyt or a bunch of corn on some Wiz Khalifa we good. If you want real lyricism come to grips with the fact that the bar has been lowered and you aint gonna get it. nikkas like Fabolous are considered lyrical even for goodness sake. :snoop: Just give it up and revisit your old Mobb Deep, Nas and Jigga records because those days are over believe it or not. shyt even revisit your old Buddens, LOX and Beanie Sigel shyt or at least check for nikkas like Wale and Freddie Gibbs. Stop expecting mainstream legends like Kanye or Drake to come through with some mind blowing lyrics.

I'll take these random tracks

etc.etc. over some bullshyt like

or who ever the hell ya'll still checkin.

fukk outta here b :rudy:

I'm looking for lyricism on top of all that other shyt you listed. I can let it slide if they do have all the rest or something about them that can't be overlooked.

Alls I know is that I will never personally check for Lupe.

I agree with you that delivery, voice, and flow is more important these days, but don't think for a sec that any rapper will be taken seriously if they can't actually rhyme.

Have fun embracing lack of variety.

them three tracks I just saw hold a lot more variety though. Especially compared to the 90s where it was all about catchin bodies, and gun slinging outside of a select group of "backpackers" so to speak.
