I definitely put this below the invasion because the invasion at least had that first ppv buyrate, prime Heyman promos and hope that it would get better. None of which exist here
No he’s not. He’s phoning it in just as he’s been doing since 2018.Depending on how things go, this might get looked at the same way that Austin's heel turn did. The idea was definitely there and Cena's doing the best he can, but it's not must-see TV. It's not going to pull in any fans that stopped watching. It just blends in with everything else, like ketchup.
Seth's heel turn is similar, especially since nobody was asking for it.

Yeah, Two of the most looked forward to stories he had in both Orton & Truth turned outI'm being nice. There are many reasons this isn't working, but Cena's at least getting more comfortable with the character. I just wish he would stop speaking in that weird supervillain accent because it takes away one of his best attributes: His mic skills.
Also, you notice how Cena became more checked out once he was officially part-time? He stopped getting legitimate feuds and started turning into the cool uncle you only see for holidays and family reunions.
I’m not going to go as far as “phoning it in”.No he’s not. He’s phoning it in just as he’s been doing since 2018.
He looks like Sheamus lol.The only thing that's not getting put over during his heel run is a tanning bed. Mans out here looking like a balding "real hip hop head" that used to get invited to the cookout in his heyday.
Impossible to ignore that the turn was Hogan nwo level turn and the follow up has been absolute dogshyt. Could have been maybe the second biggest turn ever. Instead it was a crazy turn and then the lamest shyt possible after.
