If you were Jeff Jarrett, how would you change or save TNA wrestling?

If I was Jeff (:hhh:), I would smash DIXIE one more time and then give her the :trash:X 2

i would make the wrestling ring normal like the WWE

I would stop with the silly wrestling promos

i would try to duplicate the attitude era from the wwe :mjpls:

I would sign that netflix deal :obama:

  • Change your name immediately. Not TNA. Not impact. Not global.
  • Get distribution on Netflix, or Hulu.
  • Make solid, long-term, quasi-exclusive agreements with LU, and NJPW. Position yourself as the #1 place for a wrestler who wants global exposure but a steady American paycheck they can feed their family with
  • Allow superstars to own their own likeness but do an 80/20 deal for merch; and the merchandise remains your rights in perpetuity when they leave (but they can make new merch and call themselves their name for life)
  • Have a super-show in september, right before football season; it's a boring time for sports and there isn't an incredibly major WWE or NJPW show.
  • Do not hire an announcer people are already tired of or a reject of another company (unless it's a famous wrestler who s transitioning to announcing)
  • Convince Jim Ross to be your head of talent relations and scouting.
  • Hire Jake Roberts to coach newer wrestlers on promos.
  • To save cost, rotate between only 3-4 cities for events. Like have shows in Chicago, New York, Atlanta, and San Diego, and only rotate leading to quarterly ppvs/special events. That way, wrestlers who don't want to travel can decide they want to go to Japan for 3 months for G1 or something.
  • Show vignettes of wrestlers TRAINING; like working on a finisher for a big match with another Babyface (like for mania show Cena American alpha preparing in the gym for their fight vs the Usos), or a heel lifting hella grimey (think rocky 3)
Thats all I got.

A bunch of ideas I like in this. The idea of letting westlers keep their own names/likeness is :leon:and probably the exact thing that Vince wakes up from nightmares in a cold sweat from.

Creative training vignettes are what the game has been missing. Gives cats a chance to get some personality over, and gives it the feel of a legit sport. :ehh:

Yeah I don't get why this ain't done. A LOT of people gave zero fukks about Cesaro until that YOUTUBE video came out with him lifting and doing insane shyt in the gym like 1 armed clean and jerk

Other than actually winning the Andre battle royal at mania, this is the most interesting thing he has ever done. Cut it to 40 seconds and add a clip of him practicing a move against a "sparring partner" (like a jobber in a training facility) and talking about how important his match vs so and so is, and do the same thing with their opponent, that would be dope.

And as good as wwe production is (let's be real they are phenomenal) it is DIFFERENT from WWE so it is inherently a positive for competition.
