You're starting a rap career. Who are you gearing your content toward and what kind of fans do you want filling up the front row of your shows, paying for backstage passes, showing up to your meet-and-greets, and stanning you on social media.

I'd be trying to rope in that late teen, early to mid 20 college fan base. Mostly female and diverse as fukk so my music crosses borders. :ehh:

Need the kind of fans that know all the words when I hold the mic out and aren't too cool to dance...but I also want them to be irrational enough to search my name on Twitter and harass people that are hating on my shyt. :wow:

Cole got his buzz in 09 and dropped his album in 11. That's not 4 years. And either way he's gonna be eating off that fan base to close this decade and then some so however long it took, it paid off.

Eminems fanbase... he got a strong loyal fanbase that been supportin everything he put out whether wack or not for over 15 years...

But on some real shyt, in todays climate where nobody buyin a fukkin record a artists is livin off show money and endorsement deals... My target audience would be 18-25 year olds like OP who old enough to buy show tickets and still have the time to be goin out...

Thats why you cant blame these late 30s 40 year old rappers for rappin about frivolous shyt only young kids relate to, cuz thy the ones who who go to their shows
