If you were starting an NBA team, who would you rather build around - Durant or Bron?

Durant was better or just as good in every statistical category besides assist so your point is? matter fact lebron averaged 5.5 Turnovers in his first finals its even embarrassing that durant is compared to a player in his prime

Bron has been the primary ball-handler for all 9 years of his career. You think Durant could do that right now? That nikka had his issues handling the ball in a limited capacity, just imagine if he was playing quasi-pg like Bron has his whole career. KD spends a lot of time playing off the ball. He's not asked to run the offense and create. KDs 3.8 a game in the Finals isn't much better when you take that into account. Say what you will about the refs but I don't recall seeing young Bron in foul trouble like we saw KD in this series. Even if you wanna harp on the refs wouldn't you rather have the guy who gets the calls over the guys who doesn't?

Durant is certainly a better scorer and shooter thus he scored more and shot better. What else ya got? Bron at the same age was better at every other facet of the game and still giving you 30 pts a night on near 50% shooting. Young Bron wasn't the defender he is now but he was still better than KD is and it's highly unlikely that KD becomes the defender Bron is. You think we'll see KD guarding all 5 positions in 4 years? I'm sure he'll get bigger and stronger but he doesn't have the body to get anywhere near as big and strong as Bron. Not about shytting on KD but people like focus in on his scoring numbers and totally ignore every other facet of the game. Only way I even consider taking KD over Bron at the same age is if I get a Russell Westbrook to go with him. Bron's best teammate in Cleveland was fukkin' Mo Williams. How many Thunder would you pick before picking that nikka?

Lets forget about Durant one moment, half of you dudes was talking about how bytchmade Lebron is, and how hesitant he he is when the moment arrives, and how he's not really a leader. I'd take Bron over any player.

Put Bron on the bobcats and they win at least 55 games the first year and at least 60 by year two. No other player right now can have that kind of impact on a team.

The only comparison that could be made is on the offensive side, and even that is a stretch.

Bron is a better passer, rebounder, blocker, steaks more, and defends better.

I got love for that boy KD, but if LeBron played the way KD did towards the last two games, the internet and ESPN would have collapsed within like some sort of black hole of a$$holes.
