If they are admitted due to covid, then yes, include in stats

If they happen to test positive while they were admitted for something else, then exclude from stats

They are overcounting the numbers, so does that give you a reasonable number/picture of what is really going on?

But this isn't just including it, they are also essentially saying that they were hospitalized BECAUSE of covid. but they weren't. They were hospitalized because of a broken leg.
This is inflating the severity statistics of the virus. People who are essentially asymptomatic are being listed as having had severe symptoms. This doesn't help anybody.
We need to know exactly how dangerous this shyt is. I'd hate to think we've been doing all these shutdowns and shyt over what is essentially just a bad cold. There's a reason i don't make a big deal over people not getting a flu shot.

-It means a child could test positive for Covid & get listed under the statistics as being hospitalized with Covid even if that's not why they're there.

The bolded is definitely problematic. They should just report it instead of saying they’re treating it. Kinda lazy.
