If men are the predators or aggressors in society, isn't it our responsibility as men to protect women from men who'd prey upon them?

As a former VIP host/bouncer I don't hate the concept because I've had to intervene in some weird situations that got uglier than they needed to be because I wasn't warned up front what was going on.

maybe they should put signs on the men's bathroom about respect and treating women properly rather than always targeting women? this solution seems like a resolution a man would think to apply. there should be more educational focus on women equality and treatment. but i don't expect much coming from a hooters in south africa. they probably just "don't want anyone to get hurt on their premises" as they'd be liable to a degree and it'd suck in general for everyone.

yes it is by education of those with the issues (the men). signs like these are similar to talking past someone with a problem to me. i'm not saying get rid of them, i'm just saying when i see signs like these, i get a feeling about the environment, people who patronize the location, etc. it says to me you have high instance of male to female sexual aggression, in a location and business that sexualizes women, and you have some "fire escape" plan for those in trouble yet you're probably not explaining the escape plan to everyone in the building.

Remember Women are not responsible for (or expected to be capable of) pre-screening their dates so Male employees at random restaurants or other places of business have to do that for them.

If this occurrence is happening that frequently perhaps these Women should reevaluate their selection criteria and stop choosing bad boys with slick lines and choose more wholesome Men who may not be as "cool" or have as much "swag" (or whatever they call it in SA).
