If your pants don't have zippers and they button up in the front, you're a facquet

They are really annoying when you need to use the bathroom, taking minutes to unbutton then button back

zippers all the way.

if you say they last four years of everyday wear, you don't know what you're talking about. :mjlol:

i own samurai 711's, flat head se05bsp's, pbj xx-012s, multiple pairs of n&f, hedi era dior 19cms... the jeans themselves are ridiculously expensive as is and the fabric degrades really quickly. they're designed to fall apart after use, that's the whole appeal of vintage denim. factor in the ridiculously expensive repairs that become necessary more frequently the older the pants get and after a certain number of repairs they aren't worth holding onto anymore. you're gonna get 1.5 years - 2 years of wear from a high-end pair and that's if you repair them multiple times. also they look like rags at that point and people will ask why you don't get new $300 fancy pants. but muh fades.
fukk outta here a good pair of high end will last you way longer than that .

I've had raw denim last like 6 years .

Yeah, I don't know what that poster is talking about.
My favorite brand for denim is Naked and Famous, and I got my first pair in 2008. Liked the fit, so bought like eight more pairs between then and 2010, and they still look brand new.
Still get compliments on jeans that are going on ten years old.
I just treat them as if I paid $150.00 a pair, since that's what I paid.
So I don't do work in them, nor do I take them off and just leave them on the floor to be stepped on and beaten up.
I've got enough cheap denim to make sure I only drape the costly denim when necessary.
And yeah, zippers on jeans tell me your not wearing quality.

I only own Nudies, APCs, and some waxed Hedi SLPs. No crotch blowout, and not too much fading yet :yeshrug:
I don't mean 7 days a week, one soak a year, I mean 4 times a week, switch out for other pants eventually.
They'll last a while if you take care of them. I used to have a pair of N&F in high school w/ a flannel lining, and those were incredible :banderas:
I wore them for two straight winters, only pants I wore :damn:
