Nah. OP just needs to communicate better. He should've clarified black calling cops on another black person "for petty issues" and gave examples.

So if you're having a disagreement, and you can't get it under control, calling the cops is like saying come kill this nikka..
People are getting confused so i think we should make a list of things people usually call the cops for that we believe black folks shouldn't do.
Example 1) Welfare/Well Being types of calls. For example you see you neighbors door is open late at night and you suspect a break in has occured.
mind your business, let the neighbor deal with it. Calling the cops could lead to that same neighbor being mistaken as the intruder and being shot, which would defeat purpose of you trying to help them out.
Another Example 1b) you think the kids are being abused or neglected. Mind your business. Cops are just going to orphan those kids or put them in a group home and they'll be just as bad, if not worse off. Better to give your son an extra lunch/extra shoes when he goes to school and have him give to one those kids without the parents knowing.

Considering the way things are going, this is a damned good question. Police training that skews toward eliminating "threats" as opposed to de-escalation just adds a nasty wrinkle to already-stressful situations. Domestic arguments where the petty comes out and police get called now have to be viewed in a completely different light. A woman who is out on a first date and feels physically uncomfortable now has to contend with evaluating whether the situation as a legit threat...or possibly being the reason someone gets killed because she made the wrong call.
That's just two examples among many. The screws have well and truly been tightened from a social standpoint.

Some of my fellow ADOS individuals I'd have no choice but to call the police on them because some act stupid or just all around ruthless and don't care about another ADOS individual's safety.

You don’t know wtf situation calls for the cops or not lol. People are getting killed or close to it for the pettiest shyt. Ok, you have an husband and wife or boyfriend/girlfriend arguing right.. you just say I’m going to leave it alone and let them argue because this falls under the guidelines right? In one case, the couple will stop and move on like nothing happened.. but in the next case, the chick or guy is going to get shot the fukk up. Hell neighbors don’t even be knowing wtf be going on in their neighborhoods and shyt smh. I’ve seen so many murder/suicide situations where you ask the neighbors about the families and they can’t tell you shyt about them other than they “seemed nice” or something like that. I agree that people need to learn how to handle situations better without having to involve outside folks, but you can’t sit here and act like this shyt is an easy call to make lol. It’s not easy.. People in the neighborhoods need to get to know each other more and do what they have to do to make sure police don’t have to be called.

You have it backwards, if you're a Black person you shouldn't be putting another Black person in a position where they feel like they have to call the storm troopers.
