Well in a land that overly-penalizes African-Americans at every stop, I can understand how a law-abiding citizen would rather call the police than risk jail time handling something themselves. If you are endangering the life of another African-American without sufficient cause, you have no right to dictate how the other party responds. They can bust you over the head, kill you, call the police, etc....all options are within their right.

I got jumped by 5 dudes in 2007....called the cops...they showed up 2 hours later when I was in the hospital getting stitches on my eyebrow. No arrests. Nothing. Just a questionaire that went NOWHERE.
They'll show up quick if they wanna arrest yo black ass tho.
Never will do that shyt again...these motherfukkers are useless unless u white.

Giving the current climate, is it a good assumption to say they don't care if you get killed?
So if you're having a disagreement, and you can't get it under control, calling the cops is like saying come kill this nikka..
Unless you can legally carry and protect yourself and your family, best to call the public servants that get paid from your taxes.
The myth about "we can control our communities, cops are not needed" was exposed as lie once and for all this past summer. That ship sailed in the 1980s.
You should always attempt to work it out amongst yourselfs before the cops get involved but I won't lie... I got some family members that did dirt and remnants of those people and situations occasionally pop up at random times. Until you had angry/strung out dudes from your past show up to your crib at 3AM, its hard to not consider that option... or solving it yourself...
