Google needs to get Agentic features going in their future releases.

yeah theres gonna be a lot more browser competition and I hope to see new rendering engines when LLM coding improves and token context windows increases..

So what's so special about Brave?

I have Firefox with ublock origin and it seems to get the job done. Got the paywalls bypass extension also.

On the FOSS side I have ironfox for more security and cromite for a more private and secure chromium browser

lol google chrome greyed out the button to install ublock origin on the chrome store

dudes in the comments were like "inspect element disabled" :lolbron:

if you dont know what that means... hit f12 to inspect element. click the button. look for 'disabled' in the html. remove it. click the button to install UBo anyway

its really fukked up how google is openly bullying this single developer. theyre going out of their way to target UBo because raymond hill wont take buyoff money. if you werent aware, companies like adblock allow some advertisers to pay them directly to bypass ABP on their sites, showing you ads anyway.

ray hill is that dude :salute:

personally i recommend firefox nightly over chrome. ive been using vertical tabs for like a year now at least. you get all the new features

if you really love chrome style browsers you should check out Flashpeak Slimjet (slimjet.com iirc) - its a chromium fork but with google integration, built in adblocker, tons of little extra features (image resizing and shyt like that), and yes you can install ublock origin on it. it has a video downloader for sites like youtube too :obama:

the sites a lil janky cos i dont think the devs speak much english. ive used slimjet for like 10 years now and its good shyt. i like those dudes :pachaha:

i also have a theory that mozilla disabled 'compact mode' in firefox gui because it encourages fat shaming but thats for another time
