Kyrie or Rozier?

Scary Terry is a blossoming star and is too good to play behind Kyrie going forward. So seems like a no brainer that the Celtics should see what they can get for Rozier....except for the fact that he's 4yrs younger, a better defender and has perfectly healthy knees.:ehh:

So do you trade a young healthy stud with limitless potential?...whose game keeps rapidly improving? Or do you keep the super talented still young vet who has major injury milage and may or may not have many years left at an elite level?

Knowing the Celts they'd prob try to package Kyrie to get another superstar. But do you really do that? Kyrie is proven and who knows if Rozier will ever get to that level. And at the same time if Kyrie breaks down in a few years the Celts would look stupid as fukk for trading Rozier away.

Seems like a good problem to have doe:yeshrug:

You better figure out how much of this is the system before you go relying on Rozier like that. That same system had Isaiah Thomas, a career scorer in the teens, looking like prime Iverson last season. This really just comes down to how long you think Kyrie’s body can actually hold up.

A hip injury had something to do with Isaiah's decline too

nikka, Terry Rozier is shooting 41.5 percent, from the field, for this years playoffs. Terry Rozier shot 39.5 for the season.

Kyrie shot 40.8 percent this year, just from three-point range.

Terry Rozier is a nice backup PG.

Kyrie needs to understand, in this stat obsessed era, when you don't use your talent to statpad, dumb ass fans start comparing you to backup PG's who are shooting 37percent for the career. :gucci:

I would keep both for now. Next year kyrie may not be ready at the start of the season anyway. And when he does come back he should probably come off the bench until he gets his legs right:manny:

If i was the celtics id package jaylen brown and gordan for Kawhi. Brown is a great player. But im not sure if hes ever gonna get to kawhi’s level. And gordan is a good player. But def will never be a superstar.

A healthy Kyri and Hayward with this team, assuming brad figured out how manage this current roster with Kyrie/Gordon there, are favorites to win the east, And the only team that would still a couple wins from the warriors in the finals

They already in the Second round with their two players down

Kyrie is actually walking without crutches right now. It was said that he will be out 4-5 months, which means around July he should be healed. Training cam starts in October. If he already walking without crutches, he'll be more than fine by October.

I'm just laughing at the abundance of talent the Celtics will have next year. If they can keep relatively healthy, they'll be pushing towards a 70-win season.

:heh:
Looks like the celtics and sixers gonna meet in the ecf every year if everyone is healthy:wow:

They dont need it, secure the #1 or #2 seed and keep everyone healthy. Kyrie and Hayward dont look like they gon juggernaut all over the regular season like its nothing.
