Alex has proven he can take you to the playoffs d put up numbers to win games when he gets there.

He deserves good money, nothing wild, but to let him go would be to put yourself back in the same position you been in since Trent Green retired.

After watching some Alex Smith highlights I begrudingly agree with you. He made some great plays in the Colts game, and is dominant in regular season play. With better weapons Alex can conceivably take the Chiefs to a Super Bowl. That's worth a 3 year 45 mill deal.

It's funny because it seems people really want Smith to fail.

He is one of those guys who on here everyone finds a reason to trash him.
