Nas is my goat It’s tough to choose between DMX jay and 50 just thinking bsck to those times . I was too young to get music and my brother bumped nas waaaay more than biggie . I just think the DMX , 50 and jay runs were crazy and portions of it came with rap’s expansion to the main stream . I love P but I can’t going it to him . This a tough question! I feel like i should say biggie but my god when DMX crossed over with the type of music he was making it was crazy , then Jay run was bansnas for rap and then 50 with the mixtape run to GRODT was legendary. I can’t decide lol

Yea same but Ima go 50. Its really a toss up, 50 felt like his buzz was crazier and peaked higher but Jay might not have peaked as high but his peak was longer and even tho he didnt believe in Kanye it was still under his umbrella so he gets marks for that influence..

Yeah that was my two as well. Went Hov just for The Black Album in 2003 giving him the edge but a lot of people will forget how big 50 was back then. He was as big as Eminem for a bit.
