I don't know,I see a awful lot of nikkas hold it against Jay for bein a corporate pig only worried about makin money pandering to cacs for commercial success at times....if Nas is only pandering to a concious fanbase bcuz it makes sense business wise for him,saying shyt like hiphop is dead than cosigning Iggy as the future taking her on tour....I don't think u can hold him up as the example of "doing it the right way" and caulling everybody ellse sellouts for making commercial shyt....most these nikkas just pander towards what they think people want them to do,and whaat kinda music they think people want them to make,that will make them the most money.

Well did you see primo's recent list of album of the year. Be a legend, respected and hardcore rap artist don't necessarly means you have good tastes. Ans in Nas & Primo cases, it's just politics. And I think Nas is the type of cat to be more interrested in people than the artist in itself. Remember he met Amy several times but didn't record shyt with her while she was alive.
