Love it or hate it, the Wii Remote had a massive impact on the industry, and proved just how much fun it could be from day one. At a time when game controllers would change minimally from one generation to the next, the designers at Nintendo didn’t just upend the tea table, they literally borrowed the design of the classic TV remote sitting on it. Welcoming and simple to a fault, and fitted with an infrared sensor, accelerometer and gyroscope, the Wiimote opened up motion gaming like never before, and made gaming in general such an easy sell to so many newcomers. And the proof of concept for how fun and versatile it could became with the Wii itself - Wii Sports, which perfectly showcased how this simple, odd controller could become a tennis racket, a golf club, a pair of boxing gloves, and so much more.

This is a top ten controller of all time. Second best third party controller I've ever used. The 8bitdo sn30 Pro is a top ten controller as well.

I just got the Xbox Elite 2 controller and it's the best controller i ever owned. I have damn near every controller too.. Scuff is garbage compared to Elite 2..

zero surprise at number 1...I’d just say the xbox one controller period including the elite and the series 2...I’ll never forget going to bestbuy and feeling that controller in hand for the first time...I had every intention of picking up a PS4 first and then buy the XB1 a few months down the line but when I played with that demo unit and felt that XB1 controller in hand picked up the XB1 that day and bought the PS4 later...prior to that I’d owned every single playstation and never fukked with xbox...the only reason I was remotely curious about the XB1 is bcuz friends in my GTA online crew on the PS3 where mostly deciding to go with XB1 for the new gen at the time

Def don’t agree with the DS4 being better than the DS

It’s like a night and day difference in form factor alone, not even counting the built in mic, grip, adaptive triggers, haptics, better touch pad. Etc

I thought the XBOX 360 controller was trash.

I hated that controller and it’s why I mostly stayed away from the 360 even tho they had a good amount of exclusives I wanted to play

I had the scuf vantage for PS4...the cheap quality in comparison to the elite controller made that shyt feel like a fisher price toy

The switch pro controller and elite 2 are legit my all time favorite controllers

they might even let him return it depending on when he bought it...I had mine for more than a month before the RB button started sticking...was able to get a full refund...preferred that over a replacement...for damn near $200 there shouldn’t be this many known issues out the gate with this shyt
