I think the answer to this question is the answer to this country's problems. Our problem isnt lazy ignorant poor people. It's those at the top playing with the people and handing out the scraps as they see fit.

I didnt say it couldn't go the other way. My point is that there is a huge disparity between the too groups. There are plenty more stupid rich white folks than there are black folks.

Why do you think they're stupid? Usually white folk who live in the suburbs (I'm assuming that's who you're talking about) have at least a Master's degree and work a high end white collar job or run a successful business. Say what you will but as far as education goes - they're far from stupid. In my opinion there are many more stupid black people with money, i.e. drug dealers.

Or are you talking about celebrity kids like Paris Hilton and etc. If so, you'd be surprised by how educated they actually are. Besides, they're not rich - they're children of the rich.
