I'm watching a few interviews and dude is just keeping it real. Said he only slap women to keep them in line.

Was he ever accepted back by us? That woman beater label is hard to shake.

He reminds me of one of my uncles when I was a kid. The one that always wore a gold chain, smelled like cigarettes booze and cheap cologne. Had a new girlfriend every 4 months. Would give you $5 out of his race track winnings.

Role Models :ahh:

I think the truth is halfway between Tina's story and Ike's story. I think Ike minimized his abuse and I think Tina over emphasized it. I always said if MJ is having plastic surgery to avoid looking like Joe cuz he hated him that much then why did Tina keep her last name? Plus I think Tina wanted to Serena Williams it up in Europe and needed justification to do so so she pulled a page out the Alice Walker playbook. White folks went along with it because Ike is a pioneer of Rock and Roll and he handled his paperwork so they couldn't fukk him on that side.

Ike Turner will NEVER be forgotten. He's responsible for recording (arguably) the 1st ever Rock n Roll song, "Rocket 88".

They assassinated his character in 'What's Love Got to Do It' by painting him as this Devil smh But let Tina tell it "Nam Myoho Renge Kyo":mjpls:
