Only a few producers do it well (DJ Toomp, Mannie Fresh) and make it sound fresh every time out. But those guys program good basslines too.
Everyone else is just making the same beat over and over from the same kit.
I still think that's why Ross gave away "Rich Forever" for free b/c it was filled with those beats.
I dont know who's gonna break the ground for the next southern sound, but when they do, it's gonna be big. All they need is Wayne or someone like that to jump on it.
