This right here needed to be said. Have you noticed white people love telling young black kids to be humble? They know damn well there are very few humble successful people. There’s a guy with a food truck in a vacant lot close to me selling hotdogs and burgers in a lot, and every day at lunch there are tons of cars out there, mostly construction crews, and contractors eating.

I’m always seeing new kinds of food trucks from waffles, dim sum, tacos, those fruit bowls . More places are having food truck days, and the food trucks setup at events. It might be slower in colder months, but they’re probably making enough seasonally to survive the less busy months.

Imagine if black people had a fleet of soul food trucks.
