It just depends breh. If you've got the income and don't need to aggressively save, then the gas doesn't matter.

My current car is averaging 29mpg so far with 250hp and my previous one had 490hp and averaged 18 on the same drive. I like them both equally.

1st car has 115hp takes about 22 to fill up now....bout 350 miles on a tank..2500 lbs,2 door coupe

2nd car has 260hp takes about 25 to fill up now...bout 320 miles on a tank...4000lbs 4 door sedan that seats 5 adults

Basically they get damn near the same mpg but I have much more space, safety features and a car that has no problems passing others on the highway :smugdraper:

Say that to anyone driving in a 13 MPG or less luxury car or SUV. They are dime a dozen in the DC area rolling around the Beltway.

Everybodys indulging now but when gas goes back up :udgoraw:

Im getting like 28-29 in my 140HP Civic. I whip the shyt out of that little thing though
I had a Z and still have my motorcycle. At a certain point it doesn't make sense anymore. Motorcycle is the best balance though. 40 MPG and I can count on 1 hand the # of times any car has given me any problems.

With gas price's being around 1.50 in NJ, MPG is mattering a lot less than it used to, though most v4 engines will give you over 32MPG on the highway.
