I'm a black breh who can't dance, should I be ashamed?

Was raised in an athletic culture. Was an all-state athlete in multiple sports, and played sports year round. Don't get me wrong I had a social life, but dancing was never really a big part of my child/teenhood. And thus as an adult I can't dance. I can keep in beat, nod my head, give you some basic movements here and there, but I can't do anything complex and if a girl gets up on me making her ass do some crazy shyt I'm lost. Women approach me all the time to dance and I curve 'em just for the sake of avoiding embarrassment. Should I be ashamed?

Most people can't dance. Point is to turn up and have fun. Not win a competition.

Dancing with a girl is the easiest thing to do. Just move in sync with her. And if she feels you lagging behind she'll slow down for you.

Like I said, I was a big athlete. Played D1 ball. I'm not a small dude, 6'3" and some change and built like some of the bigger NFL receivers. I'd say I get my fair share of attention from women, but I just can't dance, and from personal experience any and all attraction women have in me in club environments goes out the window the second I start to move.

Hit a couple clubs and practice a bit. You'll feel comfortable there because it'll be dark and everyone is dancing. You'll start to gain confidence after a while.

Edit: If you're already talking about at a club, then maybe you should drink a bit to help you loosen up.

I can't dance either breh, I eat fairly well. To be honest, most people don't care if you can dance or not. Women included. If I were you I'd get a female friend to teach you how to dance... like for real. Just make sure she's no higher than a 6 in your eyes and no liquor involved cuz you'll end up in bed together instead of learning to dance.
