This is true.

Regular season intensity is nothing versus playoff games.

I was still hoping to see some of the things that we saw in spurts: aggression, focus, execution, good passing, everyone getting back on defense etc. This is on the coach, the mindset of the group, being ready, being prepared..
Only so much a coach can do if the personnel isn't straight.

I mean, let's be honest here, what kind of intensity did you really see this Lakers group playing with when you look at the rotation? You've got a 40-year-old Bron, two white boys who've never been known for setting the tone defensively, and a non-existent frontcourt. Ain't nobody got the recipe to make that work.

WE ALL TOLD U THIS FROM THE JUMP

EVERYBODY STARTED GETTING EXCITED BECAUSE OF MEANINGLESS REGULAR SEASON WINS

WRITINGS BEEN ON THE WALL
Not gonna lie, that #2 spot had me hyped. I knew that we lacked experience in coaching of course - but I was hoping the positives would translate to the playoffs somehow. They are not translating and JJ Redikk is definietly not translating to a real coach at this level. He's getting completely outcoached by a dude who most people couldn't pick out of a lineup.

There's a difference between what works in the regular season and what works in the playoffs. Teams always shorten their rotation in the postseason, so I don't know what you're trying to get at here.

ALL THOSE GAMES WERE VERY WINNABLE AND HAD THE LAKERS LEADING IN THE 4TH

FUCC OUTA HERE BLOKE

You haven't seen the Lakers in flow and pushing the pace, working hard on defense and playing well all season?

If we brought even those basic things it would be at least a little bit competitive.

But you not lying: this team's makeup isn't championship calibre starting with that we LITERALLY don't have a C in our lineup...

It's a different thing, altogether, having that type of energy after getting beaten up by a much bigger and athletic team like Minny. That takes its toll.

That's true. it's a mental game. Even tonight - the energy feels low. There's not this hunger, aggression, activity that the Timberwolves have (especially at home). And we are playing at home...

I also think the change in team chemistry from "us vs everyone" to "no, nobody on the bench goes in, I don't believe in you, I only believe in 5 players" is super damaging for any "group belief" and any chance of building each other up. It takes a lot from a player who is suddenly not playing anymore after helping get the team to 3rd in the west and seeing only a select few people play.

THEY ARNT BIG ENOUGH. thats all
They got 2 Centers on the bench and he didn't play them.

At the very least he should've put them in to deploy the Hack-a-Rudy strategy and to make the paint more congested and make it at least somewhat hard for him to get offensive rebounds and points.....

He did play Maxi Kleber though. Coach of the Year.
