If you want to go into it as a legitimate business I know a lot about it because that's what my uncle does.

He bought houses in London before the economic crash and now let's them as 'guest rooms' on that website. Each house has 4 rooms or so.

The amount he makes on there from those rooms is fukking disgusting.

Its a good hustle. Many people in the holiday letting business became millionaires of it.

My uncle always told me property is the quickest way to make a million. I'm beginning to believe him. So many areas of exploit.

There was a housing service specifically for the college that I am visiting (people from the community advertised housing). If you can, you should try to get set on the Detriot/Ann Arbor university listservs for visiting scholars/graduate students (search around online and see if you can find any of those lists servs). Graduate students are low key and easy money because we have stipends.

Yup, moving into a condo in downtown Toronto on Oct 15th, right beside the Rogers Center. You best believe I'll be renting it out everytime there is a big event weekend like UFC and all that shyt.

Will be doing it through Airbnb as I've rented from folks through there.

Having a high security deposit also helps you weed out the trash people.

I stayed at a dude's apartment last time I went to DC in the USA and he had gone to South Africa for a week. His girlfriend checked me in and he came back and checked me out.

Yeah we used it for everyspot during our Honeymoon last month. Paris, Ibiza and Barcelona. All places were exactly as described. Airbnb also gets someone to verify everything in person too I believe.
