I will say I'm kind of shocked dude does crazy numbers on these super long videos. looks like he made it private, which is another annoying thing he does I was in the midst of one of his hour long videos when he suddenly made it private days after releasing it and I couldn't even finish the fukking video. but anyway last night this video had over 400k views. i got yt premium but assuming that shyt is littered with ads he got to be eating good

Yes, because if he was really concerned he would have approached Tyler Perry about these issues instead of going for low hanging fruit.........story would be different if he was to say he and others had approached the man with sound business proposals and were wrongfully rejected. I think FD is at his best when he is getting into the why someone behaves a certain way. I think he did a good job with that. Also he does a good job with breaking down the movies whether you agree with his analysis or not

That's a shame, it was a well researched well edited video. Maybe the part breaking down his movies ran a little long but it was necessary to get into all the TP tropes. At least Issa Rae is trying to put people on and build relationships, no reason TP can't let others write/direct and let the money roll in other than ego.

One of the reasons video essays have fallen off on YouTube is because these nikkas grow addicted to the sound of their own voice and the essays get longer and longer. Nikkas only have but so much time in the day. 4 hours of anything is ridiculous

If you point this out however, you get accused of having a short attention span

At least this was scripted, edited, and had a purpose
