And it's definitely better than any rivalry that took place in the 2000s. For the simple fact that their in different conferences. It adds an element to it when their only playing for the biggest possible reward everything they meet in a series.
And this is going to be the third time.
But man a part of me wants the next generation to make that jump on either side.
Whether it's AD finally getting a finals trip. Or Harden.
Or in the East someone like Giannis, maybe even Paul George, or Butler. Someone making that step. And getting their shot.
