Im applying for network IT jobs and i had two ppl ghost me before the interview

I had an interview at one spot and the white front desk lady was like..."Oh, you are here for the maintenance position?"

Needless to say I wasn't hired...

Sadly tech has many evil cacs and Indians gatekeeping...

Sad fact, legally they have to advertise vacancies to fulfill federal equal opportunity guidelines, but most of the time they already made an offer to an internal candidate and are just wasting time with external applicants.

HR departments and managers ghost you because they can afford to be rude and you weren't in the serious running.

I've been the beneficiary of this myself. It really isn't fair. I had been interviewed a week after everyone else was interviewed at the hirering manager's request. I'm sure somebody in the previous group was told the were the best.


Half a dozen people came to the corporate office for no reason just to get that job and the hr people told me I have the job less than a minute into the "interview".


It was the first time it happened to me cause I was only a contractor to the firm before, but I couldnt help but feel discusted and sad about getting this gig in that way

One was for a noc position in Charlotte(I live in michigan)

Another one was for a remote network engineer position. It said reply IN on some thecoli gif shyt if you want to schedule an interview

As a Charlotte breh, the truth is the job was probably already filled internally and they were just required to post publicly.
