I had a chance to tour the Covenant House in DC, a homeless shelter for lost, abandoned and homeless teens.
Life changing.
Tonight, I am sleeping outside in support of this plight, and to bring awareness and raise a few dollars to the cause. I am asking the Coli to donate if you want, share if you like, comment, whatever, I don't care - just let people know this exists, and it exists around the nation.
1.6 million kids spend their nights without a home, without knowing where to get their next meal, without knowing during the day if they’ll be alone again that night or worse. Everyday that we celebrate, a child wishes that his or her life was different.
