How can I put that to use when I get my CCNA?

It will beneficial to whatever company you work for that uses EPIC, good keyword for your resume. From the healthcare IT perspective, having EPIC experience and/or certs can command a higher rate of pay.

I barely know what the doctors are talking about half the time

I mostly look at user snapshots and remote in to guide users through things. Most calls are not Epic related

Do a keyword search on the job search engine or your choice and see what the openings are and read through the descriptions. You can at least see the type of positions that utilize it and see if any alight to what you want to do.

Will it help you in a networking job? Not really, but it's a buzzword you can speak to when you apply for networking jobs at healthcare companies. All companies in general love that experience because you should have a basis for HIPAA, data protection, security policies, etc.

Like @Hahahaha said. Epic is not going to help you with a networking career but if you actually learn Epic and become proficient in it, you can easily make 6 figures. I know a couple of people who went from help desk to Epic and are eating good right now.

I cant count on that
My job only gets ppl in classes when the hospitals say they have extra openings
