Im noticing alot of feasting going on with the Wii U
im considering a WII-U.. name some games...and backwards compatibility?

I'm ordering another one Friday for Mario Kart 8 and getting WWHD as my free game.
Super Mario 3D World is a must have
Mario Kart 8 (you get a free downloadable game with that: New Super Mario Bros U, Pikmin 3, Zelda Wind Waker HD, Wii Party U)
Donkey Kong Tropical Freeze
The Wonderful 101
The last two I didn't like as much as other people when I played them but
then you got Smash Bros coming later this year which is the main game I want. Bayonetta 2 coming this year also along with Hyrule Warriors. And it is backwards compatible with a great Virtual Console lineup.

Still feasting on SM3DW and MK8 and Monster Hunter when I have time. Still haven't gotten back to playing DK Tropical Freeze or Wonderful 101, but the kids stay playing that shyt so I don't regret those purchases. Smash Bros and Bayonetta 2 coming soon. Wii-U is for the kid in all of us. Complements my PS4 while I wait for those next gen titles to roll out.
Also we got Zelda, Pinkmin 3 and Wii Sports Club.

Don't get a Wii U. SAVE your money. My mother bought the family a Wii U for Christmas and biggest WASTE of money. After 2 months no one even bothered playing it. The only good game was Black Ops 2, but the multiplayer sucked. Wii U multiplayer is lackluster compared to its two rivals. Also the hardware of the Wii U is very limited and thus like original Wii wont have good third party support. Also the harddrive is not replaceable but worse the highest gb it has 30gb for the black Wii U(I have that one). To charge your controller you have to charge it in a wall socket and not into the console. Then you have very few games coming out for the Wii besides the usual first party Nintendo games if your into those type of games. Wii U like the original Wii is mostly catered toward casual players so your not going to be getting any first party games on par with Sony or Microsoft.
The only fun thing about the Wii U is the controller tablet. Thats literally it. It was fun and cool being able to play any where in the house while the console is in a different room. Or being able to just play a game on the controller and not TV. Just sitting on a bed and relaxing. But thats it! The Wii U as a whole is a lackluster console. Again SAVE your money. You've been warned. As a current PS4 owner I would get an Xbox One over Wii U. I don't care how many anti-Xbox One people on here say the Xbox One is a better investment than the Wii-U. MS is actually getting their sh*t together after the backlash and unlike what happened last year their building up their first party games and coming out with many exclusives. Xbox One can be for the hardcore and casuals in your family when it comes to the Kinect. Online is better and so is the interface. Get an Xbox One if you already have a PS4.
NO ONE is feasting over a Wii U but die hard Nintendo fans and other casuals. Hardcore gamers avoid the Wii U for a reason. I already made that mistake twice(also with original Wii). Save your money.

You can go into the original wii. Boots up and everything. Hacked it and able to play all emulators (nes, genesis etc.) And original wii games (on portable hard drive).

Sounds like mommy should have bought you a PS4 or XBox One for christmas.
Um...It wasn't for me. I have a job and my own money. The Wii U was mostly for my little brothers and older sister(they like wii fit). And I bought a PS4 with my own money a couple of months ago. If the Wii U was mines I would have been sold it. I'm thinking about getting an Xbox One because I like MS exclusives like Gears, Fable, Dead risng and Crackdown but might save up for another gaming PC.
Also my 13 year old brother may get an Xbox one...

No my brothers did. Plus it was when it first came out.
Everybody who bought a Wii U when it first came out got Black ops 2. It really the only good game out since the Wii U barely had any games.

I take it you don't like Mario games then. Cause having a Wii-U without Super Mario 3D World and Mario Kart 8 is a sin.
I mostly like Zelda and Metroid series. The only Mario game I really liked was Super Maria Sunshine for the Game Cube. My childhood...
But this is mostly for the OP. If he is a big fan of first party Nintendo games then def get one, but he'll have to wait. But if not then avoid getting a Wii U at all cost.
