I liked Messiah Complex era of this far better than Krakoa. That's when they said "don't eff with us and we won't mess with yall" and they mostly had some peace, if not for the Kill Squads Cyke sent after the enemies. Hell Charles considered redoing the whole thing with his present knowledge to try and run it back better one last time, but was talked out of it by mutants who loved Krakoa too much. I am interested to see what the second age of Krakoa will lead too, because the general feel in the books is they know they made a mistake by not taking their oppressors seriously when they had the upper hand. There is a weariness in the new books which makes sense considering Krakoa was the high point of their existence.
