as is, I probably eat fast food once a month MAX.
i'm pretty active in the gym and thus i'm pretty consistent in making meals for myself.
anyway, in the instances where i'm on the go and have patronized these stores, they have the grossest, un-hygenic looking people handling the food...
in my past two encounters, i've had...
1) indian lady at mcdonalds with severely crusty, chapped lips and ashy ass hands.
2) today at dunkin donuts: fat drooling middle-aged female cac with what looked like multiple needle marks from that heron and a hospital bracelet from the night before
. i ordered a muffin and even though she used the paper to shield it from her hands, i ended up just throwing the shyt out after thinking about it.
if i wouldn't even want to shake hands with these people, how stupid am i in having them directly handle my food?
at least i can wash produce thoroughly, cook my food adequately to kill bacteria, and have relatively more control in the cooking process. imma still patronize the caribbean and soul food spots because supporting black businesses is key
but everything else is in the bushes. like i said before, i'm cooking at home 90% of the time so it'll be an easy transition
