That these other wealthy countries maintain their high standard of living despite not killing hundreds of thousands. We don't know one way or another if they would be able to maintain that if they were the size of America or not. We'd only be guessing.
I agree with you. There isn't one. I just don't know if that necessarily has to be the case. We've only tried the military way.But those countries aren't empires. America actually has a SAY in what happens around the world, why do you think everybody is so scared of you guys? If empires don't require aggressive militaries then please name me one throughout history that has NOT had one
You might be right. But I remain hopeful (perhaps naively)Because nothing else works, you're an idealist, and that's good for you in a way but global peace is not practical. He who has the biggest gun will always have the last word, unless human nature changes thats always going to be the way it is. Some of you Americans (not you specifically) are the equivalent of white folks who will spend all day railing against white supremacy but are only content to do so under the shade and comfort of white privilege
