If youre a person who is focused on making ends meet and stacking money to secure your future, the idea of leaving your safe, warm/air conditioned and comfortable home for the wilderness filled with mosquitos, snakes, MF cougars and bears and other annoyances is not how you want to spend your down time after an 70+hr work week. Not to mention the risk of 'going missing' ill walk on some trails that have nature around but a hike? fukkallthat

. Walking any damn where is the same exact exercise as "hiking.". Now you wanna say mountain hiking is different, yes it is, but most hiking trails are not mountain trails. And I'm not talking about a park anyways. I'm talking about actual trails through cities. For example. We have the bay trail in the bay area that is like a couple hundred miles of paved hiking trails all over the bay.b
