I've developed some bad habits since covid started. Too much drinking and unhealthy eating etc. I think a lot of it is due to loneliness.

I urge people to try and take good care of themselves. It's often not as easy as it seems. Im not sure how long I'll be able to do it but I'm going to put forth an effort to do so. It's not so hard during the weekdays due to exhaustion from work but weekends have become troublesome.

I dont expect people to care but perhaps this will motivate others in need to do better as well. Covid has messed a lot of shyt up.

I've cut down drinking and finally got well rested sleep. It's amazing how different my weeks go when I'm not bogged down.

My work performance has increased tremendously, my weekends I have way more energy and just overall more happy.

Sex has been better and most importantly I saved more money. It's safe to say I think I may just cut alcohol out my life

What made you want to try this out

I just generally dont feel well. I feel unhealthy physically and mentally. I may stay with my parents for a week. My dog has been there so it would be nice to be around him. My girl and I broke up april 2020 and it's been lonely living alone and lately i haven't been doing so well for myself so i need to make a change

I did the same last year. I had a whole routine. I’d wake up between 5 and 6am, work out clean up a bit. Go to work… on my way I had a playlist for inspiration. Do another work out when I get home and focus on some other shyt. Write out the days events and meditate my way to sleep.

shyt was going good for about 4 months, but I slipped when this blizzard that came thru. I used it as an excuse to drink since we were REALLY holed in and got back in the habit.

Your thread has nothing to do with it, but I got back into it over the weekend. It’s effectively February as far as I’m concerned. My suggestion: find a routine and don’t allow any excuses. You’re GOING to come up with some. But it’s so and so’s birthday, etc. Commit yourself to a timeline at minimum and see it through.

You can do it breh. I haven’t drinked in a week (lol) and haven’t smoked in over a month.

If you were going really hard, let your doctor know and they’ll let you know the healthiest way forward. Good luck
